2018 Lessons learned and new committments

So...it has been a while since I last blogged and I have realized that this has to be a must as I go forward. So much has happened since the last time I posted but I really want to focus more on the key thing I learned about myself this year and my plan going forward. Realizing and examining my issues and dealing with them has been the most important lesson that I have learned this year.   Around this time last year I was feeling pretty good about myself. I was on one of my "Bucket List" trips, NYE in NYC, that I awarded myself with for loosing 125lbs. I went into this trip with a pretty healthy attitude towards eating. I was on vacation, I was not going to restrict myself but I was going to walk EVERYWHERE. I knew when I returned home that I was going to get right back to eating healthy and working out so that I could lose the remaining 104lbs that stood between me and my final goal. Introduction and Background

I had another blog that I have somehow lost access to so I need to start over with a new one. Thankfully I still have a copy of my first blog about my recommitting to my health that I posted 6 months ago so I'll post that first and then give an update on my commitment and goals for the next year. Get comfy...this is a long one. So…it has been about 5 years since the last time I first blogged about my journey to weight loss and my life has completely changed. I had a lot of personal and financial upheaval in my life and I coped the only way I knew how….food. And lots of it. I was in this state from 2013 through 2015. I started having problems with my knee in December in 2015. No matter how much I weighed I have always been able to walk and walk far. It had never been an issue.
